Corporate Advisory Board David Brensilber was formerly Vice President of Business Affairs at Yahoo! HotJobs, one of the "Big Three" general job board companies. He is a veteran in the online recruiting community, having served in a variety of senior positions at Yahoo! HotJobs. Brensilber received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and B.A. in economics from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Cecelia Dwyer is President of TrueCareers, where she is responsible for the company's strategic plan and performance. TrueCareers is a leading online recruitment site for finding degreed professionals, and wholly owned by Sallie Mae, a Fortune 500 company and the nation's leading provider of education loans. Prior to leading TrueCareers, Dwyer held senior executive positions with Monument Funds Group and Robert Half International. Marcie Pitt-Catsouphes Ph.D., is Co-Director of the Center on Aging & Work/Workplace Flexibility at Boston College and an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Social Work at BC. She received her B.A. from Tufts University, M.S.P. from Boston College, and Ph.D. from Boston University. Deborah Russell is the Director of Workforce Issues at AARP. This includes working with the business community to create employment opportunities that are fair, flexible, and that capitalize on the wealth of knowledge and expertise mature workers bring to today’s workplace. As Director, Ms. Russell leads a team that focuses on issues effecting individuals 50+ by developing information, programs, technical assistance, and practical research. Ms. Russell has her degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland. Steve Silberberg is a former Vice President of Sales at AOL, where he managed strategic marketing relationships with leading consumer marketing brands. He also was also a key decision maker in new product and business development. Prior to AOL, Silberberg worked in advertising sales for ABC Television. Michael A. Smyer Ph.D., is Co-Director of the Center on Aging & Work/Workplace Flexibility, Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and a Professor in the Department of Psychology, all at Boston College. He received his Ph.D. in personality and clinical psychology from Duke University and a B.A. in psychology from Yale University. Dr. Smyer, a licensed clinical psychologist, was a Professor of Human Development at Penn State prior to moving to Boston College. MAX STIER is President and CEO of the Partnership for Public Service – a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to revitalizing our federal government by inspiring new generations to serve and by transforming the way government works. He has worked in all three branches of the federal government. Mr. Stier is a graduate of the Yale College and Stanford Law School. The Corporate Advisory Board meets with management periodically but does not have legal responsibility for operations.
