Regional Field Manager


MarketSource is currently searching for a Regional Field Manager. This position will require that someone meet and exceed client field expectations with overall region responsibility for Client Program effectiveness and client/customer satisfaction. In order to do their jobs effectively, Regional Field Managers must have excellent client service skills, ability to identify, hire, train and manage talent and the ability to lead and develop others. Regional Field Managers must have strong performance management and coaching skills allowing ongoing development of their Field Reps. This is a remote management position with very little face to face interaction with the part-time reps.


This is a part time position offering 20 hours per week and offers hourly pay.


Major Tasks and Responsibilities


  • Managing the Business
  • Managing to region and individual performance objectives
  • Summarizing field data for analysis
  • Creating PowerPoint, Excel & Word reports that summarize regional field performance
  • Presenting district summaries to Client & MarketSource Representatives with recommendations based on industry trends and directions
  • Partnering with the Support Team to ensure that all region operations meet and exceed MarketSource and Customer objectives
  • Ensuring operational excellence in all area
  • Ensures event store coverage meets client and MarketSource targets by partnering effectively with the Support Team


Providing Excellent Customer Service


  • Ensuring any client and/or customer concerns are solved effectively and promptly
  • Forecasting scheduling needs to the Support Team and Recruiting to ensure sufficient Rep resources to meet client demand
  • Coaching Reps to execute their job responsibilities in order to deliver the Leveraged Experience' to all customers
  • Serves as field-based point of contact for Leveraged clients


Managing Employees


  • Recruiting and hiring the most qualified candidates to meet the client needs
  • Observing and evaluating Reps job performance
  • Evaluating and making decisions about Reps performance. Having responsibility for hiring, terminations, promotions and demotions of Reps
  • Coaching, training and developing Reps informally and through formal training programs, providing both informal (e.g., verbal coaching) and formal (e.g., written evaluation) job performance-based feedback
  • Communicating Client & MarketSource objectives to Reps
  • Ensuring that all reviews and call reports are completed on time
  • Conducting field development visits and QA spot checks on assigned stores/Reps
  • Motivating Reps to perform at a high level
  • Verifying that Reps are scheduled appropriately for work and training time by partnering with the Support Team
  • Taking appropriate action to minimize turnover
  • Training Reps on use of IVR, Natural Insight and OneSource

Planning


  • Developing and communicating client and MarketSource standards to Reps
  • Working with client, management and Reps to anticipate and solve problems and plan for upcoming events, seasonal changes, etc.
  • Forecasting staffing needs and partnering with recruiting and the Support Team to ensure optimal retail staffing
  • Shopping and studying competition to identify trends and develop new ideas


Operations/Process


  • Drive all MarketSource operational processes in field
  • Conducting field visits and QA spot checks on assigned stores/reps to ensure excellent service to client and retailer
  • Maintains and ensures data integrity in all MarketSource and client systems
  • Maintaining a weekly Support Planner and communicating to Support Team


Other Duties


  • Building relationships with client partners
  • Sharing best practices with other Regions to drive operational success and client satisfaction
  • Other duties as necessary to properly manage all aspects of program operation
