POSITION: DRIVER (Part-time)

The 30th Street Senior Center is a member of the On Lok family of senior services that provides a wide variety of services for persons over 60 years of age. They include educational and recreational activities, its health promotion program Always Active, case management and social services, as well as hot and nutritious meals to older adults in San Francisco.

POSITION SUMMARY:  

Under the direction and supervision of the Transportation Coordinator, the Driver will provide transportation services and make any deliveries and pickups as needed or assigned.          

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safe and timely operation of vehicles while transporting meals and supplies to participants homes as scheduled or requested..
• Ensure vehicle safety (van maintenance, pre-trip inspections, use of seatbelts, body mechanics, transfer training, and wheelchair safety).
• Supports participants care plan as developed by IDT (assist prt. in transport; make observations and report to team)
• Other related duties as assigned.
