THIRD-PARTY BILLER Ensures claims are billed and re-billed in a timely
and appropriate manner so proper payment is received. Resubmits
rejected claims and follows up with third-party payers. Processes
adjustments, performs inquiries and manages a high volume of claims
in a fast-paced environment. Requires excellent interpersonal skills
for interaction with physicians offices, insurance carriers and
patients.
PAYMENT POSTER Posts line items, payments and adjustments to patient
accounts quickly and accurately. Knowledge of insurance companies and
contract payers is necessary. Must be able to recognize and understand
an explanation-of-benefits form.
