The Coordinator, Marketing Planning & Operations is responsible for facilitating and ensuring the accuracy for the production of all Walgreens local and specialty print ads or national month-long programs and associated signage and ad files. This position works closely with Marketing Planning & Operations management and Sr Coordinators to ensure programs are executed correctly.
Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
- Facilitates the production of local and specialty market ads and/or national month-long programs. Ensures accuracy of ad pricing, copy, layout, electronic ad files, point-of-sale signage and versioning. Works with internal and external contacts to adjusts items and pricing due to local inventory, regional cost variations and local market initiatives.
- Maintains knowledge of layout design, copywriting, printing and photography in order to coordinate the merchandising and approval of ads and coupon books.
- Complies with complex production schedules for concurrent ad phases and/or month-long programs with rolling deadlines. Continuously reprioritize work and maintain knowledge of all current and future events to ensure changes are updated on all events as needed.
- Ensures all promotional material is clear for store personnel to implement and support and clearly presents the offers to the customer in order to drive sales and prevent customer confusion and complaints. Coordinates communication to stores if clarification and/or apologies are needed.
