The Loss Mitigation Specialist II will monitor and control the Loss Mitigation transaction including analysis, acceptance, closing and system maintenance. Gather information from mortgagors, records, and other prescribed sources and analyze the case file based upon product guidelines.

This position is a phone queue/call center environment.

Principal Functional Responsibilities

• Gather information from mortgagors, records, and other prescribed sources and analyze the case file based upon product guidelines
• Requires ability to navigate a computerized information system and other relevant applications
• Uses these computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting
• Create and maintain files and systems under the direction of the Loss Mitigation Supervisor for use in establishing eligibility and qualification for workout programs
• Coordinate on behalf of PNC, by direction of the Loss Mitigation Negotiator, workout program terms that satisfy all interested parties
• Uploading, importing and exporting related documents and information regarding loss mitigation efforts, process and closing of case files
• Be responsible for the preparation of various reports as appropriate
• Typically responsible for research and problem resolution
• Correspond with clients through emails, fax, and telephone and through their respective software programs

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years Default or call center experience
• Basic PC skills
• Excellent time management skills to adhere to applicable processing procedures & deadlines
• Strong verbal/written communication skills, customer service, analytical, and ability to compile data
