Dora invites her misbehaving students to join her for lunch

"Dora Fowler has stopped counting the number of years she's been teaching. It's well over 50. And she didn't even start until she was in her 30's and her husband's untimely death required her to work outside the home. In those early days, she brought her children to work with her. And eventually, her children went on to become teachers themselves. They're both retired now. But not Dora. Dora is different than most of the people we profile here on RetirementJobs.com. She did not retire from a long-term career and find a retirement job. Dora just never retired. But at age 87, the passion with which she still views her work is an example of how fulfilling and meaningful work is to people in all stages of life.
