The Laugh of the Party - Doug Griffin
By Lisa Raffo

Doug Griffin is Feel N. Lucky

It’s a laugh a minute for Doug Griffin in his retirement job. And it had better be. As a professional clown working mostly with children, he’s got to keep his customers happy.

Doug has always been a funny guy – his friends and family used to tell him he should consider a career in comedy. So after working for 30 years in automotive engineering, he decided to seek a specific outlet for his humor and creativity.

He saw an ad in a local newspaper for a clowning class and signed himself up. After testing out a few different costumes and routines, he’s found success and satisfaction as Lucky the Happy Hobo Clown – working part time near his home in Ohio at children’s parties and other family-oriented events.
