By Lisa Raffo

Ed Lynch shown smiling while on his way to his "Retirement Job"

Ed Lynch is a great guy -- the kind of guy you’d want to watch the game with, share a joke with. His sparkling blue eyes make you feel you can rely on him, trust him to solve your problems. And that’s just how his boss wants you to feel. Ed’s primary responsibility in his retirement job as project manager for a Boston-area construction company is keeping clients informed and comfortable with each phase of their project. He also needs to coordinate with all the workers to make sure they have their materials and are completing their tasks according to schedule. Ed retired after 30 years as a partner and customer service manager in an automotive dealership.
